The police investigates guns that were found circulating in the black triangle area where its a fertile ground for criminal gangs. One revolver gun was under the ownership of Yambimayu from Lekagak Telenggen gang. One choke gun was seized by Briptu Surman Yasin in 24 June 2011 from Goliat Tabuni gang. From POW gang/Pilia, among others, there is a choke gun seized by Pirime Sector Police in 2012, a choke gun seized by the Police in 30 May 2014, and a choke gun seized by the Police in 28 July 2014.
Autopsy shows that the bullet found in the victim’s body came from a revolver gun. It is strongly believed that the shooter is from Lekagak Telenggeng gang, because a revolver was found from Yambimayu. Moreover, the area is controlled by that gang.
